Every community has its storytellers, visionaries, and trailblazers. Now you have the opportunity to hear directly from them.
Join us each month for ASK THE ELDERS, an open forum and panel discussion featuring respected elders from the BDSM, Leather, fetish, and kink communities. Through candid conversations and audience Q&A, our guests will share the lessons they've learned, the challenges they've faced, and the experiences that helped shape the communities we know today.
From the early days of Leather culture and organized BDSM education to modern relationship dynamics and community evolution, no topic is off limits. Bring your questions, your curiosity, and your desire to connect with the rich history and living legacy of our community.
Whether you're seeking guidance, inspiration, historical perspective, or simply a chance to listen to some remarkable voices, ASK THE ELDERS is a monthly conversation you won't want to miss. Come learn from the past. Connect in the present. Help build the future. The stories of our community are too important to be lost because every generation has something to teach and something to learn.
This months topic:
Every kink journey begins with curiosity, but knowing where to go, who to trust, what to explore, and how to find your place in the community can sometimes be overwhelming.
Join some of the community's longtime elders for an honest, open and sometimes provocative conversation about the things every newcomer should know before taking their first steps into the world of kink. We'll talk about exploration, identity, consent, boundaries, safety, relationships, community, mentorship, finding your role, recognizing red flags, and learning from experience.
How do you know whether you're a Dominant, submissive, Switch, or something else entirely? Do you even need a label? How do you find trustworthy people to learn from? What should you know before attending your first munch, dungeon or play party? How do you recognize a healthy dynamic—and the warning signs of an unhealthy one? Most importantly, we'll talk about something that every newcomer needs to hear:
Your identity can evolve. Your interests can change. Your boundaries can change. And discovering who you are is part of the journey.
Come with your questions. Leave with knowledge, perspective and perhaps a little more confidence about finding your own path.
