Q. I see that there is a link here on the web site to sign up as a member. Is it a requirement to sign up as a member and is there a charge for membership?

A. No it is not a requirement, but membership has a lot of advantages and allows you to access special areas of the website not available to the public, such as profiles of other members looking to meet, video chat rooms, access to special "Members Only" events and special Member Discounts to Sanctuary Studios sponsored public events.

Q. In a formal session, is there any sex involved?

A. Absolutely NOT.  A BDSM Session may be considered sensual in many ways, but not sexual. If you are into BDSM, or fantasize about BDSM, a session will be psychologically and emotionally rewarding to you in ways that words cannot explain. Q. What can I expect in a session?

A. An experience that you will not soon forget. Everyone is different, as are sessions. The person you book your appointment with will take some time prior to going into "scene" to discuss your interests, fantasies and limits, as well as any physical limitations or problems that they should know about. They will then establish "safe words" to ensure your confidence and safety.  Knowing your interests and limits, they can then develop a session that is specifically formulated for you WITHOUT you having to say what you want. They will stimulate your mind by not letting you know what is coming next!!! If you are a Dominant looking to session with a submissive, she will let you know her limits and interests, along with her safeword to communicate to you if the scene is approaching her limits or tolerances. Safewords MUST be honored at ALL TIMES. Consent violations or refusal to honor a safeword may result in the immediate termination of your session and being banned from any future visits to Sanctuary Studios.

Q. I am coming in from out-of-town and would like to live out my fantasy for an extended amount of time. Is that possible?

A. Absolutely. Extended time and overnight sessions are available for those who  prefer to escape the reality of their day-to-day routine. It is not unusual to have someone who is in Los Angeles for business spend a night in the Dungeon rather than in a hotel since we are conveniently located near LAX. Q. I am a crossdresser who loves to escape for a weekend to indulge in dressing up "en femme" and living out my fantasy. Is this possible?

Q. Is there any BDSM activity that is NOT allowed?

A. Yes there is, we do not allow any unsafe practices outside of traditional BDSM.   We do not allow any exchange of body fluids or extreme Breath Play, such as choking, asphyxiation or carotid play.  There is no strapon play and absolutely no penetration or oral/genital contact, and for sure, absolutely no sex or other illegal activity.

Q. I have never done this before, but have fantasized about it for years. I have been thinking about it a lot and would like to schedule a session. Do you see beginners?
