Mistress Cyan's Christmas Dom/sub Auction

Each year for the past twenty-nine years, I have conducted a Food Drive for Thanksgiving and a Toy Drive for Christmas to help all of those who are not quite as fortunate as most of us here. The thought of people being hungry or children without toys on Christmas is very disturbing to Me. Since 1997, I have made it My passion to Make A Difference in as many lives as I can. We may not collect enough food and/or toys to help everyone in the world, but we can make a difference in the lives of some people, and a little help is better than no help. 

So on Saturday, December 19th, there will be a very special play party which will feature "THE CHRISTMAS DOM/SUB AUCTION" to collect food and toys for the needy over the holidays. Over the years, our efforts inspired a few local dungeons, clubs, churches, groups and munches to step up and donate to our cause. Our efforts have resulted in more than 40,000 people having meals because of what we do. That is an INCREDIBLE accomplishment that ALL of you who participate should be proud of. Your efforts ARE making a difference in the lives of a lot of other people!!!

The food will be donated to The MCC Church in North Hollywood for distribution to the community. Non food items, such as toiletries, diapers, socks and blankets will also be donated to MCC in The Valley and The Sidewalk Project. Children's toys will be distributed to the local children’s hospital, fire stations, and charities such as The Laurel Foundation, as well as to others for those in need within our community

This is how "THE DOM/SUB AUCTION" works...

Everyone is encouraged to participate, but participation IS NOT REQUIRED to attend the party. If you prefer to attend and simply play with a partner or just watch, that is okay.

"Doms and subs" (male, female, transgender, non-binary) who are interested in being "auctioned" for the evening will fill out a brief questionnaire explaining their interests and limits. The person, and their questionnaire, will be on "display" from 9:00 to 9:45 PM for their prospective "Buyers" to meet.

Those wishing to participate as a "Buyer" will receive a non-negotiable voucher for their "Auction Money" for each can of food or package of non-perishable food they bring. Each can of food or small package of non-perishable goods such as spaghetti, macaroni/cheese etc, will be worth $10 in "Auction Money". Larger packages of non-perishable goods such as mashed potatoes or turkey stuffing will be worth $30 in "Auction Money". Larger items, such as cereals, bottles of juices, etc will bring higher amounts, and the value will be determined by those taking in the donations. These are basic guidelines and may vary slightly as the diversity of foodstuffs are not always easily categorized.

One of our attendees was kind enough to make a list of some suggestions that people may want to consider.

1. Boxed milk is a treasure, as kids need it for cereal which they also get a lot of.
2. Everyone donates pasta sauce and spaghetti noodles.
3. They cannot eat all the awesome canned veggies and soup unless you put a can opener in too or buy pop tops.
4. Oil is a luxury but needed for Rice a-Roni which they also get a lot of.
5. Spices or salt and pepper would be a real Christmas gift.
6. Tea bags and coffee make them feel like you care.
7. Sugar and flour are treats.
8. They fawn over fresh produce donated by farmers and grocery stores.
9. Tuna and crackers make a good lunch.
10. Hamburger Helper goes nowhere without ground beef.
11. Cake mix and frosting makes it possible to make a child’s birthday cake.
12. Dishwashing detergent is very expensive and is always appreciated.
13. Feminine hygiene products are a luxury and women will cry over that.
14. Everyone loves Stove Top Stuffing.
     

SAMPLE OF CONVERSION RATES
Canned vegetables, fruit and soup - $10 each 
Boxes of Mashed potatoes / turkey stuffing - $30 each
Boxes of breakfast cereal - $40 each
Pasta and sauce - $10 per pound or jar
Sock / underwear - $10 pair
Blankets - $100 each 
Toys - $10 for every $1 spent

You can also exchange Cash for Auction $$$ at a rate of $1 to get $10 in Auction Cash ($100 donated would be $1000)

If you bring your receipt of what you spent and we will use that to convert to auction dollars, $10 in auction dollars for every actual dollar spent.  We will also take your word and/or estimate for you if you like.

PLEASE NOTE: You can "buy" as many Doms or subs as you want so bring lots of food/toys so you can afford to bid on whoever sparks your interest.

The doors will open at 8:00 PM to start checking in the donations, and those going up on the auction (Doms and subs) will be on display for Buyers to inspect and interview between 9:00 and 9:45. The Auction will start at approximately 10 pm and and those who are bought will belong to the "Buyer" for the duration of the party, which is until approximately 1:30 AM OR  for a shorter specific amount of time agreed on. ALL BUYERS AGREE TO ALL TERMS AND LIMITS OF EVERYONE BEING AUCTIONED.

All Doms/subs and Buyers will be REQUIRED to take a few minutes after the Auction to discuss limits and agree on safe words before playing. EVERYTHING IS CONSENSUAL... AN AGREEMENT OF SAFE WORDS IS REQUIRED AND WILL BE RESPECTED... NO EXCEPTIONS. This is a No Sex/No Drug event.
